Full steam ahead for The Royal Deeside Railway

The Royal Deeside Railway Preservation Society has reopened a section of track at Crathes, and are investing in authentic buildings, trains and rolling stock.
Working trains include the battery train that was used on the original Deeside Line
The disused Royal Deeside railway line is now also an important walking and cycling route, and the footpath has been preserved alongside the rail tracks.
