Brig O Dee is an old military bridge; on Royal Deeside; built on the disused military road which linked Corgarff Castle to Blairgowrie, and was built around 1752. This remarkable hump back bridge stands on solid rock on a bend in the River Dee, near Braemar.
The newer, current road bridge commissioned by Prince Albert can be seen in the distance. upstream
